The image turns violence into social architecture. The central struggle is disturbing, but the surrounding faces make it more than a conflict between two people: curiosity, fear, excitement, and helplessness crowd into the same frame. Its lack of empty space feels Kafkaesque—the individual is not merely restrained by hands, but by an entire atmosphere of judgment.
